I’ve been meaning to start this blog for sometime now, I’ve actually started a few times after various trips and always seems to loose momentum once we get home and life starts doing what it does best… getting you lost in the “to do” lists, work projects, home chores and all the things that make life, well… life – and my grandiose ideas seem to get lost along the way.

As we are about to embark on this year’s trip to Ireland, while simultaneously planning a trip back to Scotland next year – I find that reliving the past memories and talking of all the new ones to come… my spark has been ignited again! It was in this moment I realized… even though the vacation is over the memories keep it alive, and remembering them recall the feelings of relaxation, joy, discovery, freedom, a sense of place and everything else one experiences on holiday … carrying these feelings through into the present, uplifting the mood, reawakening the spirit – leaving one light, full of imagination and daydreaming for the next adventure that lay ahead!

So here I go, reliving our last adventure to you through words and photos… sharing all the fun, food, and sights we experienced, as well as the travel lessons we learned along the way.
