We’ve tried separate blogs—a food blog, a travel blog, a dog-friendly blog—and none of them fully captured the story of our lives. So, we brought it all together into one imperfectly perfect space where we share our adventures, our meals, our furry companions, and everything in between.

Whether it’s an occasional trip abroad, a weekend getaway, or a new dish discovered along the way, this blog is about living a life that excites us. We travel with purpose, we eat with passion, and we document it all—not to chase perfection, but to share our real, messy, beautiful journey

I’m a digital artist, graphic designer, content creator, photographer, and proud dog mom.

My passion for capturing life’s moments started with my first Polaroid as a child and grew with my first Nikon DSLR at Christmas in high school—I even sold discs of my images to friends for $20 back in the day! My heart belongs to travel, discovering new places, eating amazing food, and finding as many dog-friendly spots as possible—all with my husband Nate, our first fur kid Evie, our dog Dilly Pickle, and the people I love. Whether I’m exploring new destinations, savoring a meal, or snapping a photo, I’m always looking to share these experiences with you.

Our journey isn’t just about me behind the lens or writing the words—it’s about “us”, the adventures we share as a family. My husband, our dog Dilly Pickle, and I love to explore dog-friendly getaways in and around our hometown of Annapolis. Whether we’re sampling cheesesteaks in Philly, hiking the trails of West Virginia, or lounging on the beaches of North and South Carolina, we’re always ready for the next adventure. While some trips are just the two of us, most often, Dilly Pickle is by our side, making every journey a family affair.

In our world, it’s not just “Have laptop, will travel”—it’s also “Have dog, will travel.” We cherish finding new places where Dilly can be part of the adventures, and we discover pet-friendly spots that become part of our story.
